# FYCit vs Trofie

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FYCit at none against Trofie's 2. FYCit also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 50%) and ratings volume (48 vs 4). Trofie's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trofie sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. FYCit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trofie holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FYCit has 48 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of FYCit's written reviews are positive against 50% of Trofie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FYCit ships an update monthly, Trofie every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
