# Diary Journal vs Mind Mapped

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mind Mapped at every 5 days against Diary Journal's every 6 weeks. Mind Mapped also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Diary Journal's advantage is ratings volume (369 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Mind Mapped sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
