# Diary Journal vs MindPing

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Diary Journal at 13.0 against MindPing's 15.1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and MindPing sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
