# Diary Journal vs Everlasting Email

The clearest difference is update cadence: Everlasting Email at every 10 days against Diary Journal's every 6 weeks. Diary Journal's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Everlasting Email sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diary Journal ships an update every 6 weeks, Everlasting Email every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
