# MprooV vs Student App

MprooV and Student App both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MprooV's written reviews are positive against 36% of Student App's. MprooV also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Student App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MprooV sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Student App asks for nothing beyond the download.

MprooV holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Student App has 2.3K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of MprooV's written reviews are positive against 36% of Student App's.

MprooV ships an update every 5 weeks, Student App every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
