# Pray First vs PrayedUp

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrayedUp at weekly against Pray First's monthly. Pray First's advantage is ratings volume (390 vs 24). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pray First against 4.9 for PrayedUp. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pray First has 390 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of Pray First's written reviews are positive against 100% of PrayedUp's.

Pray First ships an update monthly, PrayedUp weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
