# Make Coloring Book vs Paintist Plus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Make Coloring Book at 60% against Paintist Plus's 17%. Make Coloring Book also leads on ads (none vs shown). Paintist Plus's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Make Coloring Book sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Paintist Plus sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Paintist Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 186 and 693 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Make Coloring Book's written reviews are positive against 17% of Paintist Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Make Coloring Book ships an update monthly, Paintist Plus every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
