# Remote Trackpad vs Lockfy Personal

The clearest difference is rating: Lockfy Personal at 5.0 against Remote Trackpad's 3.7. Lockfy Personal also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.3 vs 16.0). Remote Trackpad's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Trackpad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Lockfy Personal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockfy Personal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Trackpad has 40 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Remote Trackpad ships an update every 2 months, Lockfy Personal every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
