# ClearSpace vs LOCKD

The clearest difference is ads: LOCKD at none against ClearSpace's shown. LOCKD also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ClearSpace's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClearSpace sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and LOCKD sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ClearSpace ships an update every 2 weeks, LOCKD every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
