# ClearSpace vs RotStop

The clearest difference is monetization model: ClearSpace at free with in-app purchases against RotStop's subscription. ClearSpace also leads on ratings volume (8.9K vs 8). RotStop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClearSpace sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and RotStop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ClearSpace against 4.8 for RotStop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClearSpace has 8.9K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ClearSpace ships an update every 2 weeks, RotStop every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
