# IELTS Cert vs IELTS

The clearest difference is update cadence: IELTS Cert at every 2 days against IELTS's every 3 months. IELTS Cert also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IELTS Cert sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and IELTS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
