# UseeEar vs TransKit

The clearest difference is ads: TransKit at none against UseeEar's shown. TransKit also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and rating (3.4 vs 3.2). UseeEar's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 24%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TransKit holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 70 and 61 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of UseeEar's written reviews are positive against 24% of TransKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UseeEar ships an update every 2 months, TransKit every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
