# ASRV vs REC GEN

The clearest difference is monetization model: REC GEN at free against ASRV's free with in-app purchases. ASRV's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ASRV ships an update fortnightly, REC GEN monthly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
