# LuvLink vs Telepathy

The clearest difference is rating: LuvLink at 4.6 against Telepathy's 2.0. LuvLink also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 10). Telepathy's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 55%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LuvLink holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LuvLink has 11K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of LuvLink's written reviews are positive against 67% of Telepathy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LuvLink ships an update every 3 weeks, Telepathy every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
