# Yik Yak vs Kampus Konnect

The clearest difference is rating: Kampus Konnect at 5.0 against Yik Yak's 3.9. Kampus Konnect also leads on ads (none vs shown). Yik Yak's advantage is ratings volume (52K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yik Yak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Kampus Konnect sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
