# Yik Yak vs ConfideFriends

The clearest difference is rating: ConfideFriends at 5.0 against Yik Yak's 3.9. ConfideFriends also leads on ads (none vs shown). Yik Yak's advantage is ratings volume (52K vs 1) and chart position (#54 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yik Yak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ConfideFriends sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
