# Note vs NoteFly

The clearest difference is rating: NoteFly at 5.0 against Note's 4.5. Note's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and NoteFly sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteFly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Note ships an update every 5 days, NoteFly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
