# BLACKBIRD vs Fig

The clearest difference is ads: BLACKBIRD at none against Fig's shown. Fig's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BLACKBIRD ships an update every 6 weeks, Fig every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
