# Accel Golf vs golfity

The clearest difference is ads: golfity at none against Accel Golf's shown. golfity also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months). Accel Golf's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 68%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accel Golf sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and golfity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

golfity holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: golfity has 114 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Accel Golf's written reviews are positive against 68% of golfity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Accel Golf ships an update every 4 months, golfity every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
