# Pumpkii vs AcuRite NOW

The clearest difference is rating: Pumpkii at 2.7 against AcuRite NOW's 1.1. AcuRite NOW's advantage is ratings volume (831 vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pumpkii holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AcuRite NOW has 831 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Pumpkii's written reviews are positive against 2% of AcuRite NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pumpkii ships an update monthly, AcuRite NOW every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
