# CanoSong vs Jamyo

The clearest difference is ads: CanoSong at none against Jamyo's shown. CanoSong also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Jamyo's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (46 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CanoSong sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Jamyo sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CanoSong holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jamyo has 46 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

CanoSong ships an update every 7 months, Jamyo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
