# Longleaf Valley vs Spellist

The clearest difference is price: Longleaf Valley at Free against Spellist's $1.99. Longleaf Valley also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (8.2K vs 1). Spellist's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 35) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

Longleaf Valley is free to download; Spellist costs $1.99 up front. Longleaf Valley sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Spellist asks for nothing beyond the download.

Longleaf Valley holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Longleaf Valley has 8.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Longleaf Valley's written reviews are positive against 100% of Spellist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
