# Kilonotes vs Freenotes®

The clearest difference is ads: Freenotes® at none against Kilonotes's shown. Freenotes® also leads on ratings volume (64K vs 864) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Kilonotes's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 59%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kilonotes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Freenotes® sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
