# Blackfeet Transit vs BAT Flex

The clearest difference is rating: Blackfeet Transit at 5.0 against BAT Flex's 2.3. Blackfeet Transit also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 20 months). BAT Flex's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Blackfeet Transit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BAT Flex has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Blackfeet Transit ships an update every 2 months, BAT Flex every 20 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
