# Widgit vs Color Widgets Kit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Color Widgets Kit at 100% against Widgit's 47%. Widgit's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Widgets Kit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Widgit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Widgit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgit has 146 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Widgit's written reviews are positive against 100% of Color Widgets Kit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widgit ships an update monthly, Color Widgets Kit every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
