# Widgit vs Themee

The clearest difference is rating: Widgit at 4.5 against Themee's 4.2. Widgit also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (146 vs 36). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Widgit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 146 and 36 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Widgit's written reviews are positive against 50% of Themee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widgit ships an update monthly, Themee every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
