# Widgit vs MapCrafter

The clearest difference is price: Widgit at Free against MapCrafter's $0.99. Widgit also leads on rating (4.5 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (146 vs 1). MapCrafter's advantage is device support (5 vs 2). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Widgit is free to download; MapCrafter costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Widgit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgit has 146 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Widgit's written reviews are positive against 50% of MapCrafter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
