# Kiikuu vs Negative Scanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Negative Scanner at every 2 days against Kiikuu's every 7 months. Kiikuu's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kiikuu ships an update every 7 months, Negative Scanner every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
