# SnapCalorie AI Calorie Counter vs Flexius

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SnapCalorie AI Calorie Counter at 7K against Flexius's 4. SnapCalorie AI Calorie Counter also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Flexius's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapCalorie AI Calorie Counter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Flexius sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flexius holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapCalorie AI Calorie Counter has 7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SnapCalorie AI Calorie Counter ships an update weekly, Flexius every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
