# Sunflower Summer vs First View

The clearest difference is rating: First View at 4.8 against Sunflower Summer's 4.2. First View also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 111). Sunflower Summer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (48% vs 40%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

First View holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: First View has 20K ratings behind it against 111, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Sunflower Summer's written reviews are positive against 40% of First View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sunflower Summer ships an update every 3 days, First View monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
