# FamGames vs Worm Cave

The clearest difference is ads: FamGames at none against Worm Cave's shown. FamGames also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Worm Cave's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FamGames sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Worm Cave sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FamGames ships an update every 3 weeks, Worm Cave every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
