# SUGO vs VChat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VChat at 100% against SUGO's 38%. VChat also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.9) and in-app purchases (none vs 15). SUGO's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 10) and chart position (#36 vs unranked). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SUGO sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. VChat asks for nothing beyond the download.

VChat holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SUGO has 1.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of SUGO's written reviews are positive against 100% of VChat's.

SUGO ships an update fortnightly, VChat weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
