# Lost Pages vs S

The clearest difference is price: Lost Pages at Free against S's $1.99. Lost Pages also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). S's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 54) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

Lost Pages is free to download; S costs $1.99 up front. Lost Pages sells 53 one-off in-app purchases. S asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lost Pages holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lost Pages has 173 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Lost Pages's written reviews are positive against 83% of S's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lost Pages ships an update every 2 days, S every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
