# Lost Pages vs Loop

The clearest difference is rating: Lost Pages at 4.7 against Loop's 4.1. Lost Pages also leads on ratings volume (173 vs 8). Loop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (67% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lost Pages sells 53 one-off in-app purchases and Loop sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lost Pages holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lost Pages has 173 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Lost Pages's written reviews are positive against 67% of Loop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lost Pages ships an update every 2 days, Loop every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
