# HYLA vs Remote Control for LG TV +

The clearest difference is rating: HYLA at 5.0 against Remote Control for LG TV +'s 4.5. HYLA also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and device support (3 vs 1). Remote Control for LG TV +'s advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and review sentiment (31% vs 18%). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote Control for LG TV + sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. HYLA asks for nothing beyond the download.

HYLA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Control for LG TV + has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of HYLA's written reviews are positive against 31% of Remote Control for LG TV +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HYLA ships an update every 6 weeks, Remote Control for LG TV + every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
