# Monochurch vs YWBD

The clearest difference is update cadence: Monochurch at every 3 months against YWBD's every 5 months. YWBD's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Monochurch against 5.0 for YWBD. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YWBD has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Monochurch ships an update every 3 months, YWBD every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and June 5, 2026 respectively.
