# Hero Games vs Carnitrix

The clearest difference is rating: Hero Games at 5.0 against Carnitrix's 3.8. Hero Games also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Carnitrix's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hero Games sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Carnitrix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hero Games holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carnitrix has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Hero Games's written reviews are positive against 75% of Carnitrix's.

Hero Games ships an update every 2 days, Carnitrix every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
