# ASUS GlideX vs OBS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ASUS GlideX at 92% against OBS's 11%. ASUS GlideX also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ASUS GlideX sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and OBS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ASUS GlideX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASUS GlideX has 2.5K ratings behind it against 435, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 92% of ASUS GlideX's written reviews are positive against 11% of OBS's.

ASUS GlideX ships an update every 2 months, OBS every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
