# Belly Rush vs Sword Melter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Belly Rush at 100% against Sword Melter's 48%. Belly Rush also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Sword Melter's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (64K vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sword Melter sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Belly Rush asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sword Melter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sword Melter has 64K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Belly Rush's written reviews are positive against 48% of Sword Melter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Belly Rush ships an update fortnightly, Sword Melter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
