# Simplero vs Passion.io

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Passion.io at 84% against Simplero's 58%. Simplero's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Simplero holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 290 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Simplero's written reviews are positive against 84% of Passion.io's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simplero ships an update every 2 months, Passion.io monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
