# B7 vs Provin

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Provin at none against B7's 1. Provin also leads on ratings volume (198 vs 4). B7's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. B7 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Provin asks for nothing beyond the download.

B7 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Provin has 198 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

B7 ships an update every 4 days, Provin fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on June 9, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
