# Chronomizer vs Screen Forge

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chronomizer at 50% against Screen Forge's 0%. Screen Forge's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chronomizer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Screen Forge sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Forge holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 30 and 39 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Chronomizer's written reviews are positive against 0% of Screen Forge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chronomizer ships an update every 4 weeks, Screen Forge every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
