# Heroes Run vs Digit Shooter!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Heroes Run at 100% against Digit Shooter!'s 25%. Heroes Run also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Digit Shooter!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digit Shooter! sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Heroes Run asks for nothing beyond the download.

Digit Shooter! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digit Shooter! has 17K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Heroes Run's written reviews are positive against 25% of Digit Shooter!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Heroes Run ships an update every 3 weeks, Digit Shooter! weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
