# Shot Factor vs Bucket Battalion

The clearest difference is rating: Bucket Battalion at 5.0 against Shot Factor's 4.5. Bucket Battalion also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). Shot Factor's advantage is ratings volume (46K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Factor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bucket Battalion sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bucket Battalion holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Factor has 46K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shot Factor ships an update every 2 weeks, Bucket Battalion daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
