# Dune vs Score 7

The clearest difference is price: Score 7 at Free against Dune's $10.99. Score 7 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 79%). Dune's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 7) and chart position (#28 vs unranked). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Score 7 is free to download; Dune costs $10.99 up front. Dune sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Score 7 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dune holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dune has 5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Dune's written reviews are positive against 100% of Score 7's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dune ships an update every 5 days, Score 7 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
