# Mininote vs Invincible LightStick

The clearest difference is rating: Mininote at 4.8 against Invincible LightStick's 3.0. Mininote also leads on ratings volume (21K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Invincible LightStick's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mininote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Invincible LightStick asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mininote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mininote has 21K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Mininote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Invincible LightStick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mininote ships an update fortnightly, Invincible LightStick every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
