# Spry+ vs UW

The clearest difference is ads: Spry+ at none against UW's shown. Spry+ also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spry+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spry+ has 1.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spry+ ships an update fortnightly, UW every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
