# Nitro Tap Lite vs ClickClack

The clearest difference is rating: Nitro Tap Lite at 5.0 against ClickClack's 4.4. Nitro Tap Lite also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.5). ClickClack's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 12) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClickClack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Nitro Tap Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nitro Tap Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClickClack has 1.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Nitro Tap Lite's written reviews are positive against 76% of ClickClack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nitro Tap Lite ships an update every 3 weeks, ClickClack every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
