# Reflect Notes vs Retain AI

The clearest difference is ads: Retain AI at none against Reflect Notes's shown. Retain AI also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Reflect Notes's advantage is ratings volume (85 vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Retain AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reflect Notes has 85 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
