# UnchainedInc vs Transcript

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: UnchainedInc at none against Transcript's 3. UnchainedInc also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Transcript's advantage is ratings volume (394 vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transcript sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. UnchainedInc asks for nothing beyond the download.

UnchainedInc holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transcript has 394 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UnchainedInc ships an update every 3 months, Transcript every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
